Jessica

Clinical Care Coordinator

I have been dedicated to the field of orthodontics since 2006 and became a Registered Dental Assistant in 2007. My passion for learning has driven me to master various techniques in orthodontics. Since working with Dr. Guerrero, I've expanded my expertise in 3D printing, clear aligner therapy, and self-ligating brackets; all aimed at helping patients achieve their perfect smile. Witnessing the transformation and joy in our patients is the most rewarding part of my work. 

Originally from Los Angeles, I've called San Diego my home since 2012. My husband and I love spending time with our loved ones, traveling, and exploring the great outdoors.

Lauren

Financial and Clinical Coordinator

With over a decade of experience in orthodontics, I take immense pride in supporting Dr. Guerrero to ensure our patients enjoy a seamless orthodontic journey. I became a Registered Dental Assistant in 2012 and over the years have taken over responsibilities on the administrative side, as well. Whether I'm assisting in the back or coordinating insurance up front, I thrive on blending clinical expertise with administrative efficiency to foster beautiful smiles and ensure smooth operations.

Beyond the office, I enjoy staying active, baking, and attending concerts. When I’m not busy with work or hobbies, you’ll often find me spending quality time with my husband and doggo.

Practice Coordinator

I earned my Bachelor of Science from Truman State University in 2012, and have worked as a professional in dental administration ever since. I have a passion for the orthodontic field, including both the clinical and business aspects. I started with Dr. Guerrero as her Treatment Coordinator and have since evolved to the Practice Coordinator role. I strive to ensure that every patient at our office has the best experience possible. I have personally been through orthodontic treatment as a child and as an adult, so I know the incredible impact a beautiful smile can have.

In 2016, I moved to San Diego from Missouri where I was born and raised. Outside of the office, I love popping on a good podcast or reality show, attending concerts, and shopping. I also frequently travel to Tucson to visit my Mom.

Clinical Assistant

My journey began in 2005 when I became a Registered Dental Assistant. I have been working with Dr. Cheryl for 4 years now and I love working with a great doctor and a team that provides exceptional care. What I enjoy most about my job is getting to know each individual patient in order to make them feel comfortable during treatment. 

I was born and raised in Orange County and moved to San Diego 4 years ago. The year 2023 marked a series of milestones in my personal life - I tied the knot, purchased a home, and welcomed the arrival of the most adorable baby boy imaginable! In my spare time, I like to be outdoors, do yoga, hike, travel and eat.

Scheduling Coordinator

I earned my Sociology degree from California State University San Marcos in 2011. Little did I know that my journey would lead me to a fulfilling career in patient care! From the very first consultation to the final appointment, I find joy in being part of our patients' transformation. Witnessing their journey toward a confident and radiant smile is incredibly rewarding. I'm fortunate to get to work alongside Dr. Guerrero with such an awesome team! 

Originally from Palm Desert, I now live minutes from the beach and love it! When I'm not in the office, you'll find me spending quality time with my partner and my cat. Whether it's exploring new hobbies, staying active or whipping up something delicious in the kitchen, I'm all about embracing life's little adventures!
